Types Of Ads

My Secret Wardrobe offers 2 types of ads. It is NOT possible to switch between ad types when your site is live.

Available Ad types are:

  1. Sell
  2. Rent

How do I register?

Registration is FREE & Easy. Click on the login icon on the top right hand corner of the page or bottom right hand side of the page if on a mobile phone. A pop-up window will open. Click on  ‘Don’t have an account? Create one here.’ Enter your username, email address and password, check ‘I agree to terms & conditions‘ and click "REGISTER‘.

Note: For faster registration, you can login using    Facebook.

You will receive an email in your inbox.

Please Note: Check your spam folder if you do not receive our email.

Click on ‘Confirm Email‘. You will be re-directed back to our website with a note at the top, ‘Thank you for confirming your mail‘.

Now you can login using your username/email and password.

Click on  the Sell Button or icon on the top right-hand side of the page. Enter details of your listing.

How do I post an Ad?

Click on  the Sell Button or icon on the top right-hand side of the page. Enter details of your listing.

How many ads can I post?

You can post as many adds as you like.

Can I have a picture/photo in my ad?

Yes, you can have up to 5 images for each ad you post.

How To Promote Submitted Ad?

In order to promote your ads,  you must navigate to ‘Your Ads’ in your account and click on the promote button. It will open a module with a list of all available promotions. 

List of available promotions are:

  1. Bump Up Ad (this will update creation date while expire time remains and can be used only once per ad)
  2. Highlight Ad (this will make your ad stand out from others in listing)
  3. Top Ad (make your add in the top positions of a listing as well as in it’s regular listing position)
  4. Urgent Ad (display urgent ribbon on an ad box)
  5. Home Map Ad (have your ad appear on a landing page)

With the exception of Bump Up promotion, all of them can have multiple packages.

Once you have selected the promotion type and period, you can proceed to the payment screen. Once the payment is cleared, your promotion will be active. Promotion starts from the time when payment is cleared and not from time the promotion is requested.

How Can I Contact Seller?

If you want to message a seller, you will need to create an account. Once you have created your account, navigate to the ad and you will see a box titled, ‘Contact Seller’. Enter your email, name and your message. Click ‘Send’

You can also check the seller’s description area of the listing for further contact information.

Can I leave a comment on an item??

Yes, you can leave a comment on an item but you must be logged in.

What Are Favourite Ads?

If you have found an ad or a seller that you want to revisit,  just mark it as Favourite and it will be saved to your favorites list. You can access your favourites list from your profile dashboard.

Cannot find a category to suit my listing?

Just send an email and we will add it to our categories.

How To Report Ad?

If you feel that the ad  is breaking some rules, you can report it directly from ad page by clicking on the Report Button and writing detail reason. Ad will remain active until administrator checks it out.
